Faith formation in children starts with their parents and teachers. We incorporate spirituality into the lives of our children by the way we nurture them. Developing trust and confidence and consistently meeting a child's needs in a loving fashion are the beginning of building their faith in God. Prayer is part of each day in every classroom. Christian values and principles are stressed as well as stories from the Bible. Children begin attending weekly Alleluia Chapel in the Older Twos. We feel blessed to be given the opportunity to begin a child's life-long connection to the school environment and to a church family.
All Saints School exists to nurture whole child through Christ.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me." Matthew 19:14
Our Older Twos, Threes, Pre-K and Kindergarten classes attend chapel each week. Chapel begins at about 9:15, and the children enter singing quietly. The music is a wonderful reminder that we are entering a “sacred space.” Our acolytes (Pre-K and Kindergarten children) will light the candle and carry the cross as we begin. Father Russell delights the children with his teachings from the Bible, and Ms. Jennifer leads us in song. Our families are invited to join us anytime!
Blessings,
Fr. Russell, Ms. Jennifer, and Ms. Emory
